Rolling Fork, a heavily-wooded, deed-restricted, subdivision is located inside the Sam Houston Tollway and approximately 3.5 miles north of Hwy. 290. Initially developed during the 1970’s, Rolling Fork is an established subdivision and many of the homes are custom built houses. In addition to single family detached residences, there are also patio homes and townhouses. There are approximately 755 homes located in the subdivision.
Amenities in Rolling Fork consist of a large, Olympic-styled swimming pool and kiddie pool, a small children’s park, tennis courts, and a clubhouse. In addition, there is a large subdivision park which includes a walking trail, baseball and soccer fields, picnic areas and several playgrounds for children.
Rolling Fork is located within the highly-acclaimed Cy-Fair School District and is only about 25 minutes away from downtown Houston. Rolling Fork Public Utility District (RFPUD) provides water, sewer, garbage and recycling services for the community. RFPUD is not subject to regional water authority fees. Security is provided on a contractual basis through the Harris County Constable Pct. 4 Law Enforcement Services Contract Deputy Program.
Rolling Fork is easily accessible to Willowbrook Mall and the 1960 area for shopping as well as to Jones Road, Hwy 290, and the Sam Houston Tollway. There are lots of restaurants, shopping, schools and churches within the proximity of Rolling Fork. There is easy entry on to the Sam Houston Tollway with minimal travel time to Bush Intercontinental Airport.
